Hezbollah building bunkers near Israeli border
(30Aug06)One to bear in mind come the next inevitable conflagration…Still using human shields and this time inside refugee camps. No doubt to maximise outrage in the international media and the Muslim world. With this foreknowledge we can but wonder where is the UN??
“….Hezbollah, with the help of Iran , has started building underground war bunkers in Palestinian camps in south Lebanon just a few miles from the Israeli border, according to senior Lebanese officials…” Hezbollah building bunkers near Israeli border “..A senior Lebanese official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told WND Hezbollah has started building a new set of bunker system, this time in Palestinian refugee camps . "The Lebanese Army doesn't have the authority to patrol inside the camps ," said the official. "Hezbollah knows it is safe there to rebuild their war bunkers, and they began doing so with Iranian help." A second Lebanese official confirmed the information…”
Gaza caught in anarchy and thuggery
(30Aug06) Where there is a healthy admission, there is hope
“…When you walk in the streets of Gaza City, you cannot but close your eyes because of what you see there: unimaginable chaos, careless policemen, young men carrying guns and strutting with pride and families receiving condolences for their dead in the middle of the street." This is how Ghazi Hamad, spokesman for the Hamas-controlled Palestinian Authority government and a former newspaper editor, described the situation in the Gaza Strip in an article he published on Sunday on some Palestinian news Web sites. “…I remember the day when Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip and closed the gates behind. Then, Palestinians across the political spectrum took to the streets to celebrate what many of us regarded as the Israeli defeat or retreat…” Gaza caught in anarchy and thuggery , Khaled Abu Toameh, The Jerusalem Post . “…Dismissing Israel 's responsibility for the growing state of anarchy and lawlessness in the Gaza Strip, Hamad said it was time for the Palestinians to embark on a soul-searching process to see where they erred…. Hamad admitted that the Palestinians have failed in developing the Gaza Strip following the Israeli withdrawal and in imposing law and order…. "We're always afraid to talk about our mistakes," he added. "We're used to blaming our mistakes on others. What is the relationship between the chaos, anarchy, lawlessness, indiscriminate murders, theft of land, family rivalries, transgression on public lands and unorganized traffic and the occupation? We are still trapped by the mentality of conspiracy theories - one that has limited our capability to think…We have all been attacked by the bacteria of stupidity," he remarked. "We have lost our sense of direction and we don't know where we're headed…”

How right wing the left sounds after its moment of racial truth
(29Aug06) “…Last week marked the passing of multiculturalism as official government doctrine. No longer will opponents of this corrosive and divisive creed be silenced simply by the massed Pavlovian ovine accusation: “Racist!” Better still; the very people who foisted multiculturalism upon the country are the ones who have decided that it has now outlived its usefulness — that is, the political left. It is amazing how a few by-election shocks and some madmen with explosive backpacks can concentrate the mind…. It has all been a long time coming. Some 22 years ago Ray Honeyford, the previously obscure headmaster of Drummond middle school in Bradford, suggested, in the low-circulation right-wing periodical The Salisbury Review, that his Asian pupils should really be better integrated into British society….. They should learn English, for a start, and a bit of British history and a sense of what the country is about....” How right wing the left sounds after its moment of racial truth by Rod Liddle, TIMES ONLINE “….For these mild contentions, Honeyford was investigated by the government, vilified as a racist by the press, ridiculed every day by leftie demonstrators outside his office and was eventually hounded from his job. He has not worked since….. It is impossible to overstate the magnitude of this shift…. Multiculturalism insisted that communities always changed, were in a permanent state of flux and that if you were white and lived in Oldham or Burnley or Tower Hamlets then you had better get used to the idea quickly. This was a doublethink because the same latitude was not extended to the host population; while it was accepted that immigrants would naturally wish to band together and preserve their cultural identity, when the white working-class communities made similar protestations, this was regarded, once again, as evidence of an antediluvian racism… In the end, it is not the mad mullahs at whom we should direct our wrath, but the white liberals who enabled them to prosper. That the creed has now been binned should be a cause for celebration; but don't for a moment expect an admission that they got it wrong in the first place….”
Education and Race- an Alternative View
(29Aug06) The PC ideology in retrospect and even today seems eerily like the Salem , Massachussettts Witch trial s of the late 17 th Century. Ray Honeyford's observations with respect to Multiculturalism of 1984 (that's right 1984) cost him his job .
This article, Education and Race- an Alternative View which The Salisbury Review published in 1984, cost Ray Honeyford his job as a head teacher. For speaking the truth, he was subjected to a long, bitter campaign, including death threats and other forms of persecution, orchestrated by an assortment of vehement idealogues. Twenty-two years on, the Review says that it "salutes Mr Honeyford's courage and intellectual integrity, which has been so clearly vindicated by recent events".
Headteacher who never taught again after daring to criticise multiculturalism
(28Aug06) His crime was to publish an article in The Salisbury Review in 1984 doubting whether the children in his school were best served by the connivance of the educational authorities in such practices as the withdrawal of children from school for months at a time in order to go ''home" to Pakistan, on the grounds that such practices were appropriate to the children's native culture. In language that was sometimes maladroit, he drew attention, at a time when it was still impermissible to do so, to the dangers of ghettoes developing in British cities….Last week, 22 years on, he was finally vindicated. The same liberal establishment that had professed outrage at his views quietly accepted that he was, after all, right. Ruth Kelly, the Communities Secretary, made a speech, publicly questioning the multiculturalist orthodoxies that, for so long, have acted almost as a test of virtue among "right-thinking" people….” Headteacher who never taught again after daring to criticise multiculturalism, Telegraph.co.uk ….Kelly said “…We have moved from a period of uniform consensus on the value of multiculturalism, to one where we can encourage that debate by questioning whether it is encouraging separateness.”…. Miss Kelly's speech comes two decades too late to save the career of Mr Honeyford. And asked last week whether the minister's speech would change anything, Mr Honeyford shrugged resignedly and said it was too late for that…Asked whether he was impressed by Miss Kelly's recent speech, he said that she was only a politician, a bird of passage, minister of education one day and minister of communities the next, and like all politicians liable to say whatever was fashionable or useful to her career at the moment….The fact that we have a Communities Secretary at all, more than 30 years after the Race Relations Act was passed, is testimony to failure, as well as to the bureaucratic instinct for survival….”
America 's infrastructure fire sale
(27Aug06) Sound familiar??? “…. The devil, of course, is in the details. Each deal is governed by a contract between appointed government officials and corporate big wheels. There is little or no oversight by elected officials. Each contract determines such things as maintenance, minimum services, prices charged for services, concessions offered along the tollway and every other aspect of the venture. America 's infrastructure fire sale by Henry Lamb “…If the public that depends upon the infrastructure facility doesn't like the performance of the contractor, to whom do they turn for recourse? Elected officials are out of the picture; appointed officials are bound by contract… Are we empowering these public/private partnerships to make and enforce public policy? Are we removing elected officials from responsibility and accountability for infrastructure? Are we building a trap that will ultimately subject American citizens to the whims of the global elite? Are we making a big mistake, selling American infrastructure to the highest international bidder?...”
Arabs' Last Chance , If Iraq's Democracy Fails
(27Aug06) “….Iraqis deserved their chance. They got it. They voted. Three times….. Iraq doesn't have a democracy in any meaningful sense. It isn't even a nation. Iraqis didn't vote for freedom. They voted for revenge against each other… The pretence that an Iraqi national identity exists or ever will exist can be sustained no longer. Iraq doesn't have a government. It has a collection of warlords, demagogues and thieves with official titles… The terrorists, insurgents and militiamen will die for their beliefs. If other Iraqis will not risk their lives - in decisive numbers - to seize their unique chance at freedom, there is no hope…. Societies divided down the middle by religion, inhibited by tribal loyalties and conditioned to accept corruption can't build healthy democracies…” Arabs' Last Chance , If Iraq's Democracy Fails by Ralph Peters, New York Post. “…Above all, societies and cultures that refuse to accept responsibility for their own failures can't build democracies… A culture of blame prevents moral, social and political progress… No society that oppresses women, denies advancement on merit even to men, indulges in fantastic hypocrisy, wallows in corruption, undervalues secular learning, reduces its god to a nasty disciplinarian and comforts itself with conspiracy theories will ever compete with us… Arab terrorism isn't about redressing wrongs. It's about revenge on a successful civilization that left the dungeon-cultures of the Middle East in the dust…. We've done what we could in Iraq , and we've done it nobly. We should not withdraw our troops precipitously, but the clock is ticking. It's now up to the Iraqis to succeed - or become yet another pathetic Arab failure….”

Europe's Delayed Response to Muslims
(27Aug06) “…In full view of passers-by, (Theo) van Gogh was stabbed 28 times before his killer, reciting verses from the Koran, slashed the filmmaker's throat in the manner Muslims slay sheep for sacrifice….Hardly any Muslim groups, moderate or otherwise, voiced public disapproval of van Gogh's murder except in the most formulaic way. In Islam, "silence is a sign of acceptance," as the Arabic Koranic saying goes….Along with multiple other attempts by European Muslims of Pakistani, Palestinian Arab, Egyptian, Moroccan, Algerian, and West Indian origin to kill and maim "infidels" over the past decade, the Amsterdam murder demonstrated the extent to which first-generation descendants of Muslims in Europe do not belong in any European society…What exactly are the Europeans waiting for before they round up all those Muslim warriors and their families and send them back to where they came from?...” Europe's Delayed Response to Muslims by Youssef Ibrahim, The New York Sun “…A few days ago, the Saudi jihadist Muhamad al-Massari proudly told the New York Times that he has every right to run a Web site that calls for the violent death of British and American soldiers in Iraq….By way of explanation, Dr. Massari — a physician who lives in London as one of many "approved" political refugees granted permanent residence in Britain — told the Times: "If you kill our civilians, we kill your civilians."… Despite its laws, England shares the dysfunctional political correctness of much of the European Union, which is preparing its own set of laws banning violent Islamic fascist mind-sets….A few, not nearly enough, European political leaders are beginning to see this situation for what it is: an irremediable clash of civilizations….”
Hitler, the Mufti of Jerusalem , and Islamic Fascism
(20Aug06)When you read Serge Trifkovic's book Islam - Sword of the prophet , and others, you will see that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem had travelled to Germany to lend his support to Hitler during World War 2. In fact he came very close to being put on trial at Nuremberg . Now you can SEE it happening …. In this German documentary, actual film of the meeting of Hitler with the Mufti is shown along with the M ufti's support for Hitler's campaign... with their common link of 'hating Jews'. Running time about 5 minutes.

Those who the Gods are about to destroy they first make crazy
(20Aug06)To reinforce the point that too much of a bad thing is always too much and always a bad thing, you will be transfixed by this crazed, mad lunatic behaviour. Those who the Gods are about to destroy they first make crazy. For a squilly-second, try and imagine your local minister, priest, bishop or archbishop or even the Pope or your local Rabbi behaving like this.
(20Aug06) “…Let me get this straight. You allow one of the largest terrorist organizations in the world to set up shop throughout your country. You permit them to completely take over the entire southern third of Lebanon and you claim to have seen nothing. You allow the terrorists to build sophisticated, fortified bunkers and you did not see any heavy equipment building them.…You allow the Hezbollah terrorists to move into many of your towns and villages, including the complete takeover of one of the largest neighbourhoods in Beirut, where they proceed to build numerous, complex command and control centers...and then you claim ignorance. You allow Hezbollah to store weapons, bombs and rockets in your basements. You turn a blind's eye when they carry arms into your restaurants, stores and buildings, yet you call yourself an "innocent civilian….” Those Poor, Innocent Lebanese by Irwin N Graulich, Michnews.com "…So you allow the "Devil" into your homes and into your lives; you take the Devil's money, food and medicine; you sleep with the Devil...and get a serious evil disease. And then you blame the Jews, of course! Well, there is no sympathy for the devil...or his helpers!... The confused, immoral left and their paper of record, The New York Times only see "innocent civilians throughout Lebanon ." Europe , that moral bastion which gave birth to Nazism, will look at photos of men, women and children in despair, without putting the image into its proper context. Yet countries like Sweden , Switzerland and Ireland , who could not decide whether to support Hitler or Churchill during WWII, can drum up the moral authority to criticize Israel today. And leave it to Vichy , France 2006 headed by Jaques "Petain" Chirac to condemn Israel 's response..”
(20Aug06) “…A "mock beheading" video located at radical Sheikh Abu Hamza's website ( www.shareeah.org ), which featured three young Muslim boys who pretended to behead a fourth 1 , has elicited the appropriate public revulsion. But little fanfare, let alone outrage, has accompanied the release of a detailed study of Egyptian children's textbooks, whose inculcation of anti-infidel hatred is potentially far more damaging. 2 For example, explicit sanctioning for jihad -related beheadings is provided in a seemingly pedestrian manner, " Studies in Theology: Tradition and Morals, Grade 11, (2001) pp. 291-92 … This noble [Qur'anic] Surah [Surat Muhammad]... deals with questions of which the most important are as follows: 'Encouraging the faithful to perform jihad in God's cause, to behead the infidels, take them prisoner, break their power, and make their souls humble...” Commentary on the Surahs of Muhammad, Al-Fath, Al-Hujurat and Qaf, Grade 11, (2002) p. 9 …”When you meet them in order to fight [them], do not be seized by compassion [towards them] but strike the[ir] necks powerfully..” Textbook Jihad in Egypt by Andrew Bostom, FrontPageMagazine.com “…In 1958, Lebanese Law Professor Antoine Fattal, perhaps the greatest scholar of the legal condition of non-Muslims living under the Shari'a , lamented, "No social relationship, no fellowship is possible between Muslims and dhimmis” “ Even today, the study of the jihad is part of the curriculum of all the Islamic institutes. In the universities of Al-Azhar, Nagaf, and Zaitoune, students are still taught that the holy war is a binding prescriptive decree, pronounced against the Infidels, which will only be revoked with the end of the world..." Sadly, almost fifty years after Fattal made his observations, the sacralized hatred of jihad is still being inculcated as part of the formal education of Muslim youth in Egypt , the most populous Arab country, and throughout the Arab Muslim, and larger non-Arab Muslim world.
(20Aug06) “……W hen America was attacked on 9/11 by Islamic jihadis, it was said that this was a doomsday wake-up call for the West. Within a short while, however, much of Britain decided that 9/11 was actually America's fault and that Israel was at the core of the problem….When Britain was attacked last year on 7/7 by Islamic jihadis, it was said that this was a doomsday wake-up call for the U.K. Within a short time, however, much of the country decided that it was Britain's own fault on account of “Islamophobia” and the war in Iraq…From the evidence of one opinion poll this week, the British public has at least woken up to the fact that we are in the throes of a world war. Not so, however, the British establishment and chattering classes…” Suicide of the West ( Denial is no longer a river in Egypt but a British pathology) by Melanie Phillips “…The argument that foreign policy is the cause of the threat to Britain — a claim trotted out by a wide spectrum of people — is itself idiotic beyond measure. As Reid said, there was an al Qaeda plot in Birmingham to blow up Britain back in 2000 — before 9/11 , let alone the war in Iraq . Similarly, jihadi attacks on the U.S. began 22 years before 9/11 with the Iran embassy hostage crisis in 1979 , followed by two decades of further attacks…..Even now, much of Britain fails to understand the apocalyptic messianism now driving the regime in Iran to develop nuclear weapons with which to blackmail the world… many in Britain simply refuse to acknowledge that the root cause of the threat that Britain faces is Islam….The unpalatable fact is that there is actually a continuum of Islamic extremism in Britain. While probably only a small number on this continuum will ever be involved in violence, too many others subscribe to odious beliefs and ideas which maintain the sea of hatred and bigotry in which terrorism swims….By the time Britain finally works out just who are its allies and who are its enemies, it may well be too late….”

Dan Sytman (thanks to LGF), cohost of "Sytman & Boze" on Seattle 's Talk 770 KTTH radio, has put together an audio file showing exactly how different….” Take a listen to The Two faces of Azzam Tamimi
The Jihadists are a facist movement
(17Aug06)“…Walid Phares, the brilliant scholar of terrorism, lived through the worst of times in Lebanon…His latest book, Future Jihad: Waging War Against the West, will be published in the UK in the autumn; its superb US edition has become a must-read in foreign policy circles in Washington and for good reason…a quick chat about recent events morphed into a lengthy and fascinating seminar about the history of the Islamic world and the theory and practice of jihad across the ages, but still left me hungry for more…The emergence of current strands of Islamic extremism long predates the creation of Israel or the Cold War….The abolition of the Caliphate by Ataturk in 1924 freed jihadists from an ultimate Islamic authority for the first time since the seventh century. This unleashed the Saudi Wahhabis, and triggered the creation of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood…”. The Jihadists are a facist movement by Allistair Heat, The Spectator “…Hezbollah's plan was to bring war with Israel back to the forefront of Lebanese politics; eventually, (Prime Minister) Seniora would be accused of treason and overthrown, and a new, non-Cedar government imposed, realigning the country with Tehran…“The vast majority of intellectuals still live on a pre 9/11 planet. They refuse, even after the rise of democratic movements and dissidents in the region, to acknowledge that the jihadists are a fascist movement.”… Phares' crucial lesson is that we should never forget that all jihadist strands, regardless of how much they hate one another, are ultimately committed to the same aim, which is to wage war against those with whom they disagree. “The barbarians killed each other more than they killed Romans,” Phares warned me. “Yet they eventually destroyed the empire.”
Radical Islamists and Western Governments
(17Aug06)“…A shocking program aired on British TV's Channel 4 recently that should give pause to every Western government concerned about their domestic terror threat and raise questions from citizens about who their elected representatives are seeking advice and guidance from regarding Islam and terrorism…The half-hour program, 'Who Speaks for Muslims', presented by New Statesman political editor, Martin Bright , reveals that high ranking officials in the Foreign Office of the Blair Administration are openly advocating dialogue with some of the most radical international jihadist elements, allowing them to enter the UK after re-labeling them as “moderate” and “mainstream”; in addition to the administration's close alliance with the Muslim Council of Britain , an organization dominated by radical Islamists and which is far from actually representative of British Muslims…” Radical Islamists and Western Governments , The American Thinker “….These documents clearly demonstrate an effort by officials in Whitehall to mainstream two extremist clerics with direct terrorist ties: Youssef Qaradawi, the international spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and advocate of Palestinian suicide bombings; and Bangladeshi MP Delwar Hossein Sayeedi, who the Channel 4 program shows preaching a sermon saying that all British and US soldiers in Iraq need to either be converted to Islam, or sent back home in coffins….That the British Foreign Office has given the imprimatur to these two jihadi preachers – both of whom have been banned from entering the US because of their terrorist ties – is evidenced by the visas issued by the British government to both men. In 2004, Qaradawi, who issued the fatwa permitting Hamas suicide bombings yet is described in Foreign Office documents as “a respected scholar of Islam”, was allowed to enter the country and preach in London despite fierce protests from British Jewish groups. And earlier this week, Sayeedi was permitted by the Foreign Office to enter the country and speak at mosques in London and Luton ….”
Understanding the Jihad to Destroy Israel
(17Aug06)“…[Iranian President Ahmadinejad at an “emergency” meeting of the 57 Muslim member states of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Malaysia] … the main solution is for the elimination of the Zionist regime … pronouncements from Iran's Shi'ite regime and President Ahmadinejad , complemented by an independent statement from the immensely popular Sunni cleric, and “spiritual” leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Yusuf Qaradawi , make clear that this jihad transcends the sectarian Shi'ite-Sunni divide within Islam…. Past and present, Shi'ites and Sunnis certainly do concur on the centrality of jihad war in Islam, particularly when waged against non-Muslims for the extension, or maintenance, of the rule of Islamic Law….” Understanding the Jihad to Destroy Israel by Andrew Bostom “…The distinguished Shi'ite theologian al-Amili (d.1622) wrote the following (p.213) about jihad war in the Jami-i-Abbasi , his seminal Persian manual of Shi'a Law: 'Islamic Holy war [ jihad ] against followers of other religions, such as Jews , is required unless they convert to Islam or pay the poll tax' ….. During one of his widely viewed Qatar TV sermons this past February 25, 2006 , Qaradawi elucidated these ideas: Our religion commands us... We are fighting in the name of religion, in the name of Islam, which makes this Jihad an individual duty, in which the entire nation takes part, and whoever is killed in this [Jihad] is a martyr….”
We must stand up to Islamo-fascism
(17Aug06)“…History tells us it takes a long time to rouse the British, though once roused they see things through. Maybe the latest terrorist outrage will give second thoughts to all those well-meaning battalions of left and right and leaders of the Muslim community who have yet to see an anti-terrorism measure they approve….A whole culture of complaint has grown up among the media and among leaders of the Muslim community. The protest letter signed by 38 Islamic organizations, with three MPs and three Lords, is typical of the buck-passing. They blame British foreign policy, which is unhistorical….” We must stand up to Islamo-fascism by Harold Evans “…The Islamic radicals were using Afghanistan as a base to plot mass murder, climaxing in 9/11, long before the ill-judged invasion of Iraq…The civil rights lobbies are working from a passé play book. They are blind to the lethal nature of the new Salafist totalitarianism. They won't recognize that we are facing an irrationalist movement immune to compromise and dedicated to achieve its ends of controlling every aspect of daily life, every process of the mind, through indiscriminate mass slaughter. It is a culture obsessed with death, a culture that despises women, a culture devoted to mad hatreds not just of Americans and Jews everywhere, but of Muslims anywhere who embrace a less totalitarian, less radical, more humane view of Islam….The apologists for the Islamo-fascists - an accurate term - leave millions around the world exposed to a less obvious but more insidious barbarism…”
‘Fauxtography': The media scandal continues

Multiculturalism is to blame for perverting young Muslims
(15Aug06) “….Islamic radicalism did not begin with Muslim grievances over Western foreign policy in Iraq or Afghanistan . It has deep roots, going back to the 13th-century reformer Ibn Taimiyya, through Wahhabism to modern ideologues such as Sayyid Qutb in Egypt or Maududi in Pakistan …how does this dual psychology - of victimhood, but also the desire for domination - come to infect so many young Muslims in Britain ? When I was here in the early 1970s, the practice of Islam was dominated by a kind of default Sufism or Islamic mysticism that was pietistic and apolitical. On my return in the late 1980s, the situation had changed radically. The change occurred because successive governments were unaware that the numerous mosques being established across the length and breadth of this country were being staffed, more and more, with clerics who belonged to various fundamentalist movements….” Multiculturalism is to blame for perverting young Muslims , UK Telegraph, by Michael Nazir-Ali, Bishop of Rochester “….There were no criteria for entry, no way of evaluating qualifications and no programme for making them aware of the culture that they were entering. Until quite recently, ministers and advisers did not realise the scale of the problem, even though it was repeatedly brought to their attention….The cultural heritage of people who come here must be respected. They should be able to take pride in their language, literature, art and spiritual background. At the same time, if they are to adjust to life in this country, they should be prepared to live in mixed communities, and not on their own. Their children should attend school along with those who come from the host culture, or from other cultures and traditions. They should be willing to learn through the medium of English and to be socially mobile, rather than "ghetto-ised" on the basis of religion, language or culture…”

Expert: Iran Poised To Be 'Mother of All World Threats'
(14Aug06)“…For anyone who still thinks the Israeli-Lebanon war is just a border scuffle, one Middle East expert shouts a dire warning: "As soon as a cease fire occurs, the ‘Hezbollah Blitzkrieg' will crumble the ‘Lebanese Republic of Weimar' and install its own ‘Khomeinist Republic' on the Eastern shores of the Mediterranean. The consequences of such a development are far beyond imagination for the region and the world. Hezbollah would have paved the way for Iran to create the mother of all world threats since Hitler."…So cautions Professor Walid Phares, author of "Future Jihad," a visiting fellow with the European Foundation for Democracy in Brussels, and a senior fellow with the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies in Washington, D.C…” Expert: Iran Poised To Be 'Mother of All World Threats' by Dave Eberhart, NewsMax “…Lebanese-born Phares likens the current Hezbollah offensive in Lebanon to a "putsch" -- with the convoluted aims of reestablishing a pro-Syrian-Iranian regime in Lebanon, reconstructing a third wing to the Tehran-Damascus axis, reanimating the Arab-Israeli conflict, rejuvenating Syrian dominance, isolating Jordan, reaching out to Hamas, crumbling Iraq, and unleashing Iran's nuclear programs. The author also sees half-measures and premature truces as catalysts to even bloodier future conflicts…”

Only recently, with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the shrinking of the working class in developed economies, have numerous other groups become the Left's favoured victims…At the conclusion of World War II, the Jewish people were added to the Left's list of stereotypical victims….Designated a victim-state by the Left, Israel did not live up to expectations. To begin with (and despite being under constant Arab attacks from the day of its foundation in 1948), Israel has been internally stable and politically mature…” Left in perversity, for the left, Israel is the aggressor and terrorists the victims, argues Brian Wimborne, The Australian “…Paradoxically, the state's success has been the reason the Left turned against Israel. Within a few years of its foundation, Israel had broken the first commandment of the Left's ideology: "Thou shalt not succeed."… In short, Israel has become the aggressor; terrorists or so-called insurgents, by contrast, are the darlings of the Left….If there is a lesson to be learned from this, it is that where morality is concerned, the Left is value free. It draws no distinction between good and evil, right and wrong, justice and injustice….This should surprise no one. In the past century the Left gave rise to national socialism and international socialism; today it continues to function without a semblance of moral rectitude, offering support of any group it designates as victims…”
Only ‘useful idiots' are blaming Israel
(10Aug06)“…If you took Western news outlets at face value, you'd think that every Arab hamlet, no matter how humble, must have at least one thriving American and Israeli flag merchant….Another tactic in this “asymmetric” war is to make the Israelis the bad guys for resisting terrorism. Jews have a well-cultivated sense of guilt (take my word for it). And, for obvious reasons, no insult could hurt more than depicting Jews as Nazis…” Only ‘useful idiots' are blaming Israel by Jonah Goldberg “…No insult is barred from the anti-Israel script. Terrorize your enemy and make them feel like villains in the process — that's a powerful strategy….This strategy depends on the willing support of what Lenin called “useful idiots.” These are the accommodating Westerners — many of them intellectuals — all too willing to take the word of totalitarians and even more eager to believe that the champions of democracy are in the wrong….”

That's right: it ignored or excused a savage media bias that makes the West seem the real villain in this war. Here are examples of that bias from just the past fortnight -- not one of which Media Watch mentioned: A REUTERS photographer has been sacked… HARROWING pictures from Qana, bombed by Israel , seem now to have been staged for the newspapers… CHANNEL 9 reported from a tour of Beirut bomb sites, which a CNN reporter said was a "heavily orchestrated Hezbollah media event. Your ABC of bias , Andrew Bolt, Herald Sun “…But the rankest example of this bias came from Sunday Age columnist Terry Lane …. Lane is a Marxist with such loathing for America and its allies that during the Iraq war he wrote: "I want the army of my country, which is engaged in an act of gross immorality, to be defeated". How deeply this loathing affects his judgment still. By last Sunday, Lane's apology had morphed into this bizarre defiance: "The Macbeth fraud is plausible because it fits the facts."
(10Aug06)“…During the Cold War, both sides possessed weapons of mass destruction, but neither side used them, deterred by what was known as MAD, mutual assured destruction…. Would the same constraints, the same fear of mutual assured destruction, restrain a nuclear-armed Iran from using such weapons against the U.S. or against Israel ?… There is a radical difference between the Islamic Republic of Iran and other governments with nuclear weapons. This difference is expressed in what can only be described as the apocalyptic worldview of Iran 's present rulers…. Even in the past it was clear that terrorists claiming to act in the name of Islam had no compunction in slaughtering large numbers of fellow Muslims… School textbooks tell young Iranians to be ready for a final global struggle against an evil enemy, named as the U.S. , and to prepare themselves for the privileges of martyrdom…. In Islam, as in Judaism and Christianity, there are certain beliefs concerning the cosmic struggle at the end of time -- Gog and Magog, anti-Christ, Armageddon, and for Shiite Muslims, the long awaited return of the Hidden Imam, ending in the final victory of the forces of good over evil, however these may be defined…” Commentary by Bernard Lewis, Wall Street Journal “….Mr. Ahmadinejad and his followers clearly believe that this time is now, and that the terminal struggle has already begun and is indeed well advanced. It may even have a date, indicated by several references by the Iranian president to giving his final answer to the U.S. about nuclear development by Aug. 22. This was at first reported as "by the end of August," but Mr. Ahmadinejad's statement was more precise. What is the significance of Aug. 22?...In this context, mutual assured destruction, the deterrent that worked so well during the Cold War, would have no meaning. At the end of time, there will be general destruction anyway. What will matter will be the final destination of the dead -- hell for the infidels, and heaven for the believers. For people with this mindset, MAD is not a constraint; it is an inducement….”
Israel's elimination is being planned, plotted, scheduled
(10Aug06)A response to a policy speech delivered by British Prime Minister Tony Blair who laid out his vision on the West's war with radical Islam .
“…I'm writing to encourage you to continue to do your utmost to see a just and realistic end to the fighting in Lebanon …To leave Hizbullah largely intact would be to guarantee greater and bloodier fighting in the years ahead. The danger, as I am sure you are aware, is not only to Israel, but for the people of Lebanon, who may find themselves at Hizbullah's mercy….With a terrorist organization in control of Gaza and dominant in the West Bank, with a terrorist army on its borders, and with an apocalyptic Iranian president determined to wipe it from the map, Israel is faced with the greatest threat ever suffered by any nation since these islands faced the armies of the Third Reich…In the 19th century, a sectarian group of Shi'ite Muslims in Iran, believing the advent of their messiah, the Twelfth Imam, to be imminent, purchased and made arms and prepared for the final jihad. They made ready to fight in order to bring the Imam to earth…” Israel's elimination is being planned, plotted, scheduled Dennis MacEoin, The Jerusalem Post “…Today, there are reliable reports that President Ahmadinejad holds an identical belief, that he anticipates the return of the Imam in a short space of time, and that he may be preparing to force his hand by initiating the holy war necessary to his advent…Just as our parents and grandparents fought the dark ideology of Nazism in the 1930s and 40s, so I believe this generation has the heaviest of responsibilities face to face with this growing threat to all civilized values….Civilization itself is at stake. The values of democracy, the rule of law, human rights, and the open society are as much or more at risk today than in the decades when we confronted, first German fascism and then Soviet communism….”
(8Aug06) “…Islam enjoys a large and influential ally among the non-Muslims: A new generation of “Useful Idiots,” the sort of people Lenin identified living in liberal democracies who furthered the work of communism. This new generation of Useful Idiots also lives in liberal democracies, but serves the cause of Islamofascism—another virulent form of totalitarian ideology….Useful Idiots are naïve, foolish, ignorant of facts, unrealistically idealistic, dreamers, willfully in denial or deceptive. They hail from the ranks of the chronically unhappy, the anarchists, the aspiring revolutionaries, the neurotics who are at war with life, the disaffected alienated from government, corporations, and just about any and all institutions of society. The Useful Idiot can be a billionaire, a movie star, an academe of renown, a politician, or from any other segment of the population….Arguably, the most dangerous variant of the Useful Idiot is the “Politically Correct.” He is the master practitioner of euphemism, hedging, doubletalk, and outright deception…” Islam's Useful Idiots by Amil Imani, The American Thinker “…The Useful Idiot is conflicted and dishonest…The Useful Idiot, among other things, is a master practitioner of scapegoating. He assigns blame to others while absolving himself of responsibility, has a long handy list of candidates for blaming anything and everything, and by living a distorted life, he contributes to the ills of society….The Useful Idiot may even engage in willful misinformation and deception when it suits him…The lesson is clear. Beware of the Useful Idiots who live in liberal democracies. Knowingly or unknowingly, they serve as the greatest volunteer and effective soldiers of Islam. They pave the way for the advancement of Islam and they will assuredly be among the very first victims of Islam as soon as it assumes power….”
Reuters scandal demands an outside investigation
(8Aug06)Chalk another one up to the pyjama clad revolutionaries (The Bloggers)
“…Reuters now admits supplying the world's media with crude propaganda pictures, faked by an Arab photographer. The agency's journalistic standards are now a global laughingstock. If the agency hopes to regain credibility it must appoint an outside panel of experts to review other work of the same photographer, including the controversial photos supplied from Qana…” Reuters scandal demands an outside investigation The American Thinker “…However, as Michelle Malkin pointed out, the Reuters website claims the following “Our policy is to send news to our customers only after scrutiny by a group of production editors who ensure quality standards are maintained across all our news services. When we get something wrong, our policy is to be honest about errors and to correct them promptly and clearly.”….Which begs the question of what kind of quality standards would allow a crudely Photoshopped picture to run? How is the review of the Qana pictures by Hajj any different from the scrutiny applied to the Beirut pictures by Hajj?..”
Shut down Iran's deadly ambitions
(8Aug06) “…The role of Iran explains why Israel has responded so strongly to Hezbollah's attacks. Some have seen Israel 's response as "disproportionate". But whether a country's response to an armed attack is proportionate or not depends on the dimension of the threat it faces…Hezbollah's stockpile of 13,000 missiles was provided by Iran and delivered through Syria . As well as its old Soviet Katyushas, Hezbollah has hundreds of Fajr missiles, including some with much greater range than those used so far. These can only have come from Iran …. Iran is publicly committed to the destruction of Israel and is bent on the development of nuclear weapons…” Shut down Iran's deadly ambitions by Michael Danby, The Australian “…Ayatollah Khamenei, has said the casualties Iran would sustain in a nuclear exchange with Israel would be acceptable if it meant Israel could be "eliminated" at the same time…Demands from the Prime Minister's Muslim reference group that Hezbollah be delisted as a terrorist organisation will cut no ice with 95 per cent of the Australian parliament. When parliament voted for this measure, Australia was keenly aware of Hezbollah's role in sponsoring terrorism outside the Middle East…..If Iran refuses to abandon its nuclear ambitions, and if we are serious about preventing a possible nuclear war initiated by Iran , we should support financial sanctions against that country….”
Mel Gibson and the politics of bigotry
A bit more of perspective
(8Aug06) “…Gibson's remarks were disgraceful. But is Gibson now to be disgraced? And who is qualified to make that judgment?... The paparazzi news media can't get enough of this story, and some, like ABC's Diane Sawyer, can barely conceal their glee… Others like Christopher Hitchens, Joy Behar, Barbara Walters and Sony Pictures chairwoman Amy Pascal have piled on with their denouncements of this religious bigotry… . The first thing Mel Gibson and everyone else should do is ignore people like these. They are hypocrites….They were nowhere to be found when "Da Vinci Code" actor Ian McKellen publicly accused the Catholic Church of "perhaps misleading us all this time," and stated, "the Bible should have a disclaimer in the front saying this is fiction." And what of the movie itself, a bigoted anti-Catholic screed if ever there was one? Any denouncements from them?...” Mel Gibson and the politics of bigotry by Brent Bozell, Townhall.com. “…Where were they when Comedy Central's Dennis Leary aired his "Merry F*ing Christmas" special, publicly called the Christmas story "bull[bleep]" and said of the baby Jesus and the Virgin Mary, "I also believe that about nine months before he was born, somebody sure as [bleep] banged the hell out of his mom"? Any religious bigotry there, folks?.... Have any of these people ever said a word about the " South Park " DVD featuring an episode called "Red Hot Catholic Love,"… The examples of anti-Christian, anti-Catholic bigotry in Hollywood are seemingly endless. Each and every one is uglier, more mean-spirited than anything Mel Gibson said. While Gibson's comments were those of a slobbering drunk, these anti-Catholic rants were not just deliberate, in most cases they were scripted . And while Gibson has apologized profusely, none of the people cited above has any intention of showing contrition because they have none…. Gibson's statements were awful, and deserved condemnation. But the anti-Catholic bigotry raging in Hollywood is far worse. Those who suddenly proclaim themselves to be shocked over Gibson's religious bigotry, but have remained silent all these years as the Catholic Church is mercilessly pummeled, ridiculed and insulted, are frauds….”
When Anti Semitism is a big story – And when it isn't
(7Aug06) “…Two incidents occurred on July 28. Both took place on the West Coast; both involved an American venting his hostility to Jews. But only one of them became, in the days that followed, the big national story about anti-Semitism. The other was treated as a serious but local matter, and drew only modest coverage around the country…. Incident A involved a guy spewing crude anti-Semitic slurs when he was arrested for drunk driving; after sobering up, he publicly and profusely apologized…. Incident B involved a Muslim gunman's premeditated assault on a prominent Jewish institution; his attack left one woman dead and sent five to the hospital, three of them in critical condition. Which would you say was the bigger story?... Unless you've spent the past week submersed in the Mariana Trench, you know that the intoxicated driver in Incident A was Hollywood 's Mel Gibson… By any rational calculus, Incident B was far more significant…” When Anti Semitism is a big story – And when it isn't by Jeff Jacoby, The Boston Globe “…According to police and eyewitness reports, the killer forced his way into the offices of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle by holding a gun to the head of a 13-year-old girl. Once inside, Naveed Haq announced, ``I am a Muslim American, angry at Israel ," and opened fire with two semiautomatic pistols. Pam Waechter died on the spot; five other women were shot in the abdomen, knee, or arm. When one of the women managed to call 911, Haq took the phone and told the dispatcher: ``These are Jews and I'm tired of getting pushed around and our people getting pushed around by the situation in the Middle East ."… If the Catholic Gibson's non violent bigotry is a legitimate subject of media scrutiny, all the more so is the animus that spurs Muslims like Haq and the others to jihadist murder. As The New York Sun asked the other day, how many more Haqs must erupt in a homicidal rage before we open our eyes ``to the possibility that they are part of a war in which understanding the enemy is a prerequisite for victory?"
(7Aug06)“…If sacred Arab ground were driving the Middle East crisis, surely Syria would now be willing to risk a shooting war over the all important Israeli-occupied Golan Heights…. The world prayed that after the unilateral departure of Israel from Lebanon in 2000 and Gaza in 2005, and the recent elections in Beirut and the West Bank, it was witnessing an incremental evolution toward a lasting peace between rational democratic states…But all that optimism presupposed a radical change in the Middle Eastern mentality that unfortunately hasn't happened….if the most recent war in Lebanon and Gaza is not about land per se, whence arises the elemental desire to destroy Israel?.... The answer boils down to Islamists feeling their reputation is at stake. Words like "honor" and "pride" are evoked-- in the sense they need to be regained…” It's not just about land Victor Davis Hanson The Washington Times “..For about the last half-century, globalization has bypassed most of the recalcitrant Middle East -- economically, socially and politically. So there are now few inventions and little science emanating from the Islamic world -- but a great deal of poverty, tyranny and violence. And rather than make the necessary structural changes that might end cultural impediments to progress and modernity -- such as tribalism, patriarchy, gender apartheid, polygamy, autocracy, statism and fundamentalism -- too many Middle Easterners have preferred to embrace the reactionary past and the cult of victimization…Victimization turns out to be the real creed of the Middle East…."They did it to us" offers an easy explanation of why Islamic states are now weak and offer little hope to millions of their poor, who, ironically, emigrate to the much pilloried West by the millions…Without these reforms, they will continue to fail, seeking easy refuge in the shreds of mythical ancestral honor -- and this pathetic neurosis of blaming nearby Israel for the loss of it….”
The civilian casualties are awful but Israel is fighting for its existence
(5Aug06) “….Islamonazis are sophisticated propagandists and they know they'll find a gullible audience in the civilised world for their carefully-strewn teddy bears, strategically-placed 'Baby Milk Factory' signs (in English) and wailing widows from central casting…..Why is there only ever one child's shoe in the rubble, never a pair? There always seems to be a broken medicine box, too, with a handy red cross - never a red crescent, mind you - on the lid, just in case we haven't got the message….Credulous CNN correspondents and handwringing BBC reporters fall over themselves to sign up for the Hezbollah guided tour of the ruins… Hezbollah has started a war it knows it can't win in the certain knowledge that there will be civilian casualties. It's stated aim is to kill as many Israelis as possible and if innocent Lebanese get caught in the crossfire, tough…” The civilian casualties are awful but Israel is fighting for its existence Daily Mail “…These fanatics have little or no regard for human life. Their tactic is to hide among civilians; to use terrified women and children as human shields; to deploy school playgrounds as rocket launch sites; hotels and apartment blocks as command centres; homes as weapons dumps; mosques as air-raid shelters…Although we had wall-to-wall coverage of grumbling British passport holders being evacuated from Beirut, there doesn't seem to have been equal concern about our fellow citizens under bombardment on the other side of the border…. What struck me about the recent pro-Israel demonstration in London was the number of Union flags in the crowd. These are our people….I didn't notice any Union flags at the Stop The War rally, though there were plenty of 'We Are All Hezbollah Now' banners. It doesn't seem to dawn on them that if you want to stop the war you've got to stop Hezbollah….”
Evidence mounts that “Kana Massacre” was a fake
(5Aug06) “…Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam, declared that “War is deceit.” Specifically, he taught that lying was permissible in battle.[1] While the doctrines of religious deception (taqiyya and kitman) are most often identified with Shi'ite Islam, and ostensibly rejected by Sunnis, because they were sanctioned by the Prophet, they can still be found in traditions that Sunni Muslims consider reliable, and are practiced among Salafis. Jihadists today have spoken of the usefulness of deceptive practices…” Evidence mounts that “Kana Massacre” was a fake (part 2) by Robert Spencer “… Americans and Westerners are not used to dealing with carefully orchestrated and large-scale deception of this kind . It is time that it be recognized as a weapon of warfare, and an extremely potent one at that. Qana has already largely accomplished what it was supposed to. It will now take its place beside the Danish cartoons, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo and all the rest as a useful focal point for Muslim outrage and a magnet for jihad recruitment..”
More Evidence Mounts that Kana "Massacre" Was a Fake
(5Aug06) “…Brig.-Gen. Amir Eshel of the Israeli Air Force told reporters Sunday night, “It is difficult for me to believe that they waited eight hours to evacuate it…..Gen. Eshel also said that the building was used by Hizbullah to store explosives. This was supported by a letter by Dr. Mounir Herzallah, a southern Lebanese Shiite, who wrote that Hizbullah terrorists came to his town, dug a munitions depot and then built a school and a residence directly over it…. The first bombs, according to CNN correspondent Brent Sadler, did not hit the building in question, but rather landed "20 or 30 meters" away. The second strike hit targets further away, and the third strike, around 7:30 in the morning, landed over 400 meters away…” Evidence Mounts that Kana "Massacre" Was a Fake by Hillel Fendel “…Another CNN correspondent, Ben Wedeman, noted that there was a larger crater next to the building. He observed that the roof of the building was intact and that the building appeared not to have collapsed as a result of the Israeli strike…Lebanese rescue teams did not start evacuating the building until after the camera crews came….But, Koret noted, the ashen-gray faces of the victims gave cause to think that the bodies looked like they had been dead for days…”

Islamic Dictionary for Infidels
(5Aug06) “…Andrew G. Bostom, author of “The Legacy of Jihad,” notes that President Bush has repeatedly stressed the paramount importance of promoting freedom in the Middle East . However, Bostom points out that Hurriyya, the Arabic for “freedom,” and the uniquely Western concept of freedom “are completely at odds.” Hurriyya - “freedom” - is – as Ibn Arabi (d. 1240) the lionized “Greatest Sufi Master,” expressed it -“perfect slavery” under the will of Allah. …German- Syrian scholar Bassam Tibi , a Muslim reformist, is warning the West against wishful thinking in its “dialogue” with Muslims. "The dialogue is not proceeding well because of the two-facedness of most Muslim interlocutors on the one hand and the gullibility of well-meaning Western idealists on the other."… "First, both sides should acknowledge candidly that although they might use identical terms these mean different things to each of them….” Islamic Dictionary for Infidels by Wolfgang Bruno “…The word 'peace,' for example, implies to a Muslim the extension of the Dar al-Islam – or 'House of Islam' – to the entire world," explained Tibi. "This is completely different from the Enlightenment concept of eternal peace that dominates Western thought, a concept developed by Immanuel Kant," an 18th-century philosopher… This strategy of deceiving non-Muslims by twisting words to conceal the real, Islamic agenda while Muslims are not yet strong enough to impose their will is sanctioned by Islamic texts. IslamOnline quotes Sheikh `Atiyyah Saqr, former head of Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee, in stating: “Lying is forbidden unless it is for necessity. In that case, the principle “necessity makes the unlawful permissible” applies….”
Welcome to theater of jihad absurd
(5Aug06)“…Welcome to the marquee performance of "Qana: The Fraud and the Furious," brought to you by the Acting Guild of the Religion of Perpetual Outrage….The drama unfolded over last weekend with mob scenes across the Muslim world, ostensibly -- ostensibly -- in response to civilian deaths in Qana, Lebanon. Angry Muslims from Beirut to Gaza to Lahore set fire to American and Israeli flags. They burned effigies of Western leaders. They raised their voices in chants of "Death to America " and "Death to Israel ."… if the uproar over the accident in Qana -- an Israeli exception to the Hezbollah rule -- sounds like a tired old re-run to you, well, it is…. The truth about Muslim outrage over Qana is that it's not really about the tragic deaths at Qana -- just like the Mohammed cartoon jihad was not really about the cartoons. It's a pretext for much grander goals to defeat the infidels -- be they Israeli, Danish, Dutch or American…”. Welcome to theater of jihad absurd by Michelle Malkin “…As we watch Hezbollah's horrible parade of dead children in Qana replay endlessly on television, here is a suggestion for all the intrepid American journalists gallivanting with Hezbollah's handlers in the region: Perhaps you could put down the figurative hookah pipes, take off your sympathy hajibs and find out the identity of the green-helmeted guy holding up baby corpses in Qana as props for your sensational, page-one pictures???…. Is he just an ordinary bystander? A rescuer who just happened to be in the same place 10 years ago , traipsing around with dead children's bodies to exploit an accidental Israeli bombing prompted by terrorists hiding behind civilians? A civilian volunteer or a propaganda producer?...To his credit, MSNBC reporter Richard Engel picked up on a question the blogosphere has been asking since the toddler corpse-paraders in Qana took center stage: Where were all the men?... "All the world's a stage," Shakespeare wrote. The journalists of our age have chosen their costumes: court jesters in the Theater of Jihad…”
Moral bankruptcy of 'world opinion'
(4Aug06) “…If you are ever morally confused about a major world issue, here is a rule that is almost never violated: Whenever you hear that "world opinion" holds a view, assume it is morally wrong….World opinion" has little or nothing to say about the world's greatest evils and regularly condemns those who fight evil. The history of "world opinion" regarding the greatest mass murders and cruelties on the planet is one of relentless apathy…. It is difficult to overstate the damage done to the world by television news…” Moral bankruptcy of 'world opinion' by Dennis Prager “…Even when not driven by political bias – an exceedingly rare occurrence globally – television news presents a thoroughly distorted picture of the world… The moment one recognizes "world opinion" for what it is – a statement of moral cowardice, one is no longer enthralled by the term. That "world opinion" at this moment allegedly loathes America and Israel is a badge of honor to be worn proudly by those countries. It is when "world opinion" and its news media start liking you that you should wonder if you've lost your way….”
The United Nations Ambulances shown, are providing logistic support to combatants
(1Aug06) Watch this video and then ask yourself: Does this look like an "observer"?
You will see United Nations ambulances replacing armoured personnel carriers, in support of uninjured combatants. In this case the "armour" is the false assertion that the United Nations is a "neutral observer".
United Nations protects gunmen in the middle of combat.
Do you think that Kofi will denounce this?
Do you think that Kofi will investigate why the United Nations Ambulances shown in the linked video below; are deliberately providing safety and transportation for Arabic gunmen?
Weapons in the hands of the combatants are clearly visible.
The United Nations Ambulances shown, are providing logistic support to combatants .
We can only guess how much spying the UN does for strategic information.
Check the next video for a suicide belt bomb hidden in an ambulance.
