BEN
BRIKA BAIL HEARING
Perhaps now
after the revelations last Friday at a bail hearing in Melbourne, those that were
railing against the anti-terror laws in recent months finally get it…Finally
understand why the laws are necessary.
It’s pretty
simple really.
Even for the
misguided and pig ignorant slow learners.
Put simply, it
would seem that there are some living among us who
mean us harm.
Serious,
devastating harm!!
This was only
the bail hearing, but what was revealed was quite chilling and terrifying.
In essence,
two Melbourne terror suspects allegedly discussed killing John Howard and his
family and launching a large scale attack at a football game and causing
devastation and carnage at a railway station as part of a religious war.
The entire
conversations were picked up and recorded by police on September 24th
last year.
Self styled
cleric Abdul Nacer Ben Bricka
allegedly told 20 year old Abdulla Merhi, “you shouldn’t just kill one, two, or three but
consider doing something close to a train station.”
Ben Brikka allegedly drew on Koranic
verses as justification for the proposed attacks.
There was also
(allegedly) a conversation about slaughtering police.
How anyone can
reconcile and square such vile, dark, barbaric and satanic thoughts and deeds
with spirituality is simply beyond the comprehension of the civilized world.
There has been
some pretty mindless, juvenile and undergraduate opposition to the terror laws
from supposed educated elites who quite frankly should know better.
It now seems
quite apparent that the laws weren’t just cobbled together for the hell of it
…..It’s patently clear the spooks really were onto something.
Or would the
high-minded prefer to keep stumbling around in their fog of denial and delusion
and wait for a bomb to go off before “bringing them to justice.”
Unfortunately
terrorism is not quite that neat and tidy…
It’s a bit
difficult, working within the old law and order framework when the perpetrators
as we saw in New York, London and Madrid and Bali are quite prepared to also
eliminate themselves with extreme prejudice.
It seems that
as the evidence unfolds, the tut tutting,
smug, high-minded moralizers who returned their fridge magnets may eventually
get used to wearing egg.
