The Hijrah: A Necessary Phase in the Dawah
(5April06) In my above posting Infiltrating Australia 's Academe you would have noticed the name Dr Zachariah Matthews as one of the committed members of FAMSY, the Federation of Australian Muslim Youth. This is the same Dr Zachariah Matthews who in a lecture on March 30 th 2001 , organised by the University of Western Sydney (Milperra) Muslim society told his audience in the context of describing the deception employed by Mohammad in the migration (Hijrah) from Mecca to Medina in 622, that “ Deception is necessary ”. Note Matthews tense. IS not WAS. Keep in mind that this was in March 2001. Before Sept 11, before Afghanistan , before, Bali 1, before Iraq , before Bali 2, before the Madrid bombings and before the London underground bombings. In his lecture notes The Hijrah: A Necessary Phase in the Dawah on page 4, Matthews lists 6 principles, including, under the heading “ Secrets should be hidden ” the declaration that “today we talk about issues that don't need to be talked about to the general public” - “what is needed is less talk and more action.” Curious, to say the least. Point 4 of the principles is to “ Employ skill and competence .” Think Stalin's “useful idiots” when you read this principle. Matthews then goes on in point 6 of his principles to exhort his audience that Deception is necessary , and then concludes by saying that “these are only some of the many principles we learn from the migration ( Hijrah ) “principles that can be applied in all aspects of our lives .” Once again note the tone and tense. Again I feel it necessary to reinforce the point that we are talking about a lecture given in March 2001 and very heavily question the contemporary relevance in Australia of Matthews exhortations about such concepts as the use of deception in all aspects of our daily lives.

Revealed: radicals who backed girl in dress fight
(23Mar06) There's is a story behind the story of Shabina Begum, the 15 year old school girl in Britain , who lost her case in the High Court on Wednesday. The case swirled around Begum's insistence on wearing the Jilbab to school instead of the approved uniform. Lurking in the background, the puppet master was the shady, odious Hizb ut-Tahrir. Her brother, who is a HuT supporter, helped her with her case. The case was also championed by none other than the Prime Ministers wife, the ditzy Cherie Booth (Blair), mindlessly, and naively unaware of the dark sinister hand and manipulative forces of Hizb ut-Tahrir in the wings.

Likewise, at a national level, or a cultural level, it can soon enough turn into unhelpful self-loathing….Enter Wafa Sultan on Al-Jazeera television, of all places, who recently delivered a provocative and brave self-critique of Muslims….Sultan criticised the Muslim world for its backwardness, for shunning knowledge and progress, and for embracing terrorism. She said it was time for Muslims to stop the self-pity and to stop blaming others as justification for Muslim violence directed at the West…. Sultan's comments were dynamite because self-criticism in the Muslim world is rare. The West, on the other hand, has mastered the art of questioning its flaws. …As former diplomat Owen Harries once pointed out about the US : "Everything bad we know about America - its crime and its excessive punishment, its corruption, its graft, its racial tensions, its inane political correctness - we know because Americans have told us about them..." UK - Muslim Censorship at the Telegraph?
(14Mar06) "Is the Telegraph going the way of the BBC and censoring any report critical of Muslims or Islam? Looks that way. Earlier today I posted about a Telegraph article that showed Britain was headed towards a Muslim state within a state, being withdrawn and replaced with this warning: "This story has been removed for legal reasons". Now comes word that the Telegraph has dropped Mark Steyn's column. Steyn regularly writes articles critical of Muslims and Islam. So, why drop Steyn now? His latest article may give you a clue. Here's the title: "Media shockingly ignorant of Muslims among us".
Can the pace of converting Britain to an Islamic state happen any faster?
Apparently yes.
The UK Telegraph had an interesting article by Dr Patrick Sookhedo The day is coming when British Muslims form a state within a state' which was originally published on February 19. For some mysterious reason, this article was recently withdrawn from its archives "for legal reasons."… Western Resistance is an American-registered site, and under terms of US copyright law, an article can be reproduced in its entirety, for the purpose of review . I can find nothing within this article which appears to be in any contradiction of British Law, so the question remains: What were the "legal reasons" for withdrawing the article? No-one is slandered, and the only reason that seems to spring to mind is more to do with Islamist threat. So in the name of "review", it is our public duty to reproduce this article in its entirety, as the unanswered questions concerning its withdrawal need to be examined. "
