(5Jun05) What was that about the desecration of the Koran at Guantanamo Bay ??? Why all the fuss??? Check out this story (and before and after photos) about the wrecking, trashing and vandalising of the ancient Joseph's Tomb in Nablus in October 2000. Then of course there was the desecration and vandalism in April 2002 of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem where bibles were used as toilet paper by Palestinians and many valuable sacramental objects looted. And of course who could forget the wanton, mindless, nihilistic destruction of the 2000 year old Buddha's of Bamyan of Afghanistan in 2001. There's no doubt more but I think you get the point.
