The United Nations Ambulances shown, are providing logistic support to combatants
(1Aug06) Watch this video and then ask yourself: Does this look like an "observer"?
You will see United Nations ambulances replacing armoured personnel carriers, in support of uninjured combatants. In this case the "armour" is the false assertion that the United Nations is a "neutral observer".
United Nations protects gunmen in the middle of combat.
Do you think that Kofi will denounce this?
Do you think that Kofi will investigate why the United Nations Ambulances shown in the linked video below; are deliberately providing safety and transportation for Arabic gunmen?
Weapons in the hands of the combatants are clearly visible.
The United Nations Ambulances shown, are providing logistic support to combatants .
We can only guess how much spying the UN does for strategic information.
Check the next video for a suicide belt bomb hidden in an ambulance.
Hezbollah was using UN post as ‘shield
(30July06) “…The words of a Canadian United Nations observer written just days before he was killed in an Israeli bombing of a UN post in Lebanon are evidence Hezbollah was using the post as a "shield" to fire rockets into Israel, says a former UN commander in Bosnia….The strike hit the UN observation post in the southern Lebanese village of El Khiam, killing Canadian Maj. Paeta Hess-von Kruedener… Just last week, Maj. Hess-von Kruedener wrote an e-mail about his experiences after nine months in the area, words Maj.-Gen. MacKenzie said are an obvious allusion to Hezbollah tactics… Hezbollah was using UN post as ‘shield' “ What I can tell you is this ," he wrote in an e-mail to CTV dated July 18. " We have on a daily basis had numerous occasions where our position has come under direct or indirect fire from both (Israeli) artillery and aerial bombing”…"What that means is, in plain English, 'We've got Hezbollah fighters running around in our positions, taking our positions here and then using us for shields and then engaging the (Israeli Defence Forces) ," he said…That would mean Hezbollah was purposely setting up near the UN post, he added. It's a tactic Maj.-Gen. MacKenzie, who was the first UN commander in Sarajevo during the Bosnia civil war, said he's seen in past international missions: Aside from UN posts, fighters would set up near hospitals, mosques and orphanages. The UN post, he wrote in the e-mail, afforded a view of the "Hezbollah static positions in and around our patrol Base."… …The e-mail appears to contradict the UN's claim there had been no Hezbollah activity in the vicinity of the strike…”
Arson, rape, massacres ... and the strange silence of the archbishop
(7Mar06) “…Like Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-tung, Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein and Slobodan Milosevic, the Islamists of Sudan claim monstrous liars are libelling them. 'You are terrorists,' Abdel Rahim Mohammed Hussein, the regime's defence minister, screamed at journalists in Khartoum on Thursday…. Fashion matters and today the fashion is to ignore genocide. Quite rightly, the crimes of American, British, European and Israeli democracy are dissected and denounced. But an intellectual blockage - a Chinese wall in the mind - prevents the critics applying universal principles to far greater outrages… The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, made my point for me in Sudan last week.” Arson, rape, massacres ... and the strange silence of the archbishop by Nick Cohen “..On a visit to a church in Khartoum , the fearless archbishop told the congregation: 'It will be a joy to share with fellow Christians in Britain what... I have learnt from you.' What he had learnt was a history of massacre, slavery and second-class citizenship, but he didn't mention it…And so it went on. He travelled through a country torn by religious mania and genocide without mentioning religious mania and genocide… The confusion isn't confined to the General Synod of the Church of England. The United Nations tried to suppress a report that named the alleged war criminals of Darfur, in a way that it would never have suppressed the names of alleged torturers at Guantanamo … Why isn't every liberal newspaper and liberal party fulminating?”
The United Nations is UNbelievable
(28Feb06) “…Sexual abuse charges against U.N. peacekeepers remain high due to the organization's "culture of dismissiveness," according to Prince Zeid Ra'ad Zeid al-Hussein, Jordan's U.N, ambassador….There have been allegations against 295 troops, police and other U.N. staff. So far, 170 have been sent home or dismissed: 17 civilians, 16 police officers and 137 military personnel (six of them commanders)… If the U.N is incapable of stopping its own personnel from abusing the people they are there to protect, what is it capable of doing?" The United Nations is UNbelievable by Dimitri Vassilaros in the Tribune-Review “…The U.N. has 18 peacekeeping missions and more than 85,000 people on staff from more than 100 countries…To put this monstrous criminal enterprise in perspective, let's pretend the United States was responsible for this madness instead of the United Nations. Instead of the crime scenes being (among other places) in West Africa or the Congo , let's say they were at Abu Ghraib prison or the detention facility in Guantanamo Bay . And let's say it lasted days instead of decades. How many of the U.N.'s 191 member nations would have been horrified and outraged?
Israel wiped off the map at the UN
(5Dec05) If there were any doubt as to where the UN stands vis a vis wiping Israel off the map, the maps on display at the November 29, 2005 UN Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People should lay those doubts to rest.
The place where tyrants lecture the U.S. on human rights
(22Feb05) “…Libya was president of the panel (Human Rights Commission “action Panel”) a few years back, and Sudan is now serving out its third consecutive term, even as the United Nations debates whether what's going on in Sudan's Darfur province rises to the level of genocide or merely garden-variety state-sponsored mass murder….. The place where tyrants lecture the U.S. on human rights “..Nations that most flagrantly violate human rights typically vote as a bloc in favor of letting each other off the hook. In the most recent sessions, Zimbabwe , Cuba , Sudan , China , Egypt and Nigeria joined together reliably to exonerate whatever nation's government was accused of violations….”
The United Nations – can it get much worse?
(06Feb05) “ Incompetence and corruption at the U.N. appears to be swirling around and around in ever-widening circles. The oil-for-food scandal continues to grow…..The peacekeepers didn't go to Rwanda or Sudan, while government-backed savages hacked to death nearly a million helpless people…..And now, a top researcher for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has resigned, charging that the IPCC leadership is hyping a pre-conceived global-warming agenda that is contrary to established scientific fact….”The United Nations – can it get much worse? in WorldNetdaily.com By Henry Lamb
Kofi Annan and the insanity of international law
More on the International Criminal Court leads to legal uncertainty by Richard Egan. An easy read from News Weekly -1st December 2001
(20/10/01) Here they are, hundreds of them, in all their eye glazing glory…The various treaties
This is one of those eye glazing topics about which you should make yourself reasonably familiar… The government's line is that there is nothing to worry about….That it won't affect "
This is the piece I have often referred to by Professor Richard Wilkins re the I.C.C. and its dangers.
International Criminal Court: the dangers by Richard Wilkins. It is a fascinating read.. and quite scary particularly the references to Mary Robinson former Irish President and The U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights. Her “contribution” is in bold. The article was originally printed in Newsweekly August 11 2001
